Ayhika and Sutirtha Shine at Asian Games, Win Bronze for India!

  • They lost a closely contested semi-final match but earned the bronze as losing semi-finalists
  • Their impressive journey included defeating China's world No. 2 duo in the quarter-finals

Indian table tennis players Ayhika Mukherjee and Sutirtha Mukherjee won a bronze medal in the women's doubles at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. They secured the medal after losing a closely contested, Nail-Biting semi-final to a pair from DPR Korea.

In the semi-finals, they displayed their skills but lost 4-3. The Indian duo's impressive journey included defeating China's world No. 2 duo in the quarter-finals.

With this win India now secures a total of 58 Medals in Asian games 2023.
